Marko Vojnić

A visual artist and lecturer at the Faculty of Textile Technology, University of Zagreb, Marko was born in Pula (Croatia) in 1980 and studied at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science in Rijeka (Cro), and the Academy of Fine Art in Zagreb (Cro) where he graduated in 2007. He is a member of the Croatian Association of Artist and Bukanoise association. He has curated a number of exhibitions and is the author of several book editions. In addition to fine arts and pedagogy he is actively involved in music and is the founder of the DIY anarchist label Do It With Others Records. He has been repeatedly awarded for his work, and his artwork is a part of many museum collections such as those in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Istria, the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, the Department of Prints and Drawings in the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the City Museum of Bjelovar, and the Museum of Fine Art Osijek. He lives and works in Zagreb.
